Cat Bohannon has a Ph D from Columbia University, where she studied the evolution of narrative and cognition. “Eve” is her first book.When it originally came out in 2023,  it was a New York Times bestseller, and was a finalist for several prizes. “Eve” was re-released in paperback earlier this year, and now there’s a young-adult adaptation.

The book explores human evolution with a particular focus on the female body and Bohannon joins the program today.
