ILLINOIS CLASSICAL: The Evening Concert: MARCH 15 – 16 –17 – 18 – 19 – 20, 2026 

Tuesday night October 29 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL  90.9FM/HD1 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.  Guest conductor Jakub Hrůša leads the group in Mahler’s “Ninth Symphony”. Also on the program chamber music by Hailstork and Caroline Shaw.

Sunday night September 15 at 6:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL 90.9 FM HD1 you’ll hear Beethoven’s “Opus 132 String Quartet” from Lincoln Center followed at 7:00 by an “Imaginary Concert” on Fiesta and at 8:00 by Gateways Radio.

Thursday night July 25 at 7:00 on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear another episode of “The Sound of 13”, a program that investigates the intersection between the 13th Amendment and classical music. At 8:00 it’s “The Middle”: a weekly, non-partisan call-in talk show on politics.  

Sunday night June 16 the Evening Concert starts at 5:00 o’clock with the “Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival”, followed at 6:00 by the “Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”, at 7:00 by Fiesta, and at 8:00 by Gateways Radio.
