Tuesday night October 29 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL  90.9FM/HD1 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.  Guest conductor Jakub Hrůša leads the group in Mahler’s “Ninth Symphony”. Also on the program chamber music by Hailstork and Caroline Shaw.

Tusday night March 12 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear Mahler’s “9th Symphony”, one that contains the hallmarks of Mahler’s symphonies — grand scale, profound emotions, and folk-dance themes — capped by an ethereal finale of transcendent rapture.

Monday night January 8 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear Debussy’s “Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun” and Florence Price’s “4th Symphony”. Also on the program Caroline Shaw’s “Microfictions, Vol. 3 featuring the vocal ensemble “Roomful of Teeth”.

Monday night May 1 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear a concert from October 2022 with music by Debussy, Caroline Shaw and Florence Price from the newly refurbished David Geffen Hall.
