Tuesday night December 10 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL 90.9FM/HD1 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear Holst’s “The Planets”, and Brahms’ “Song of Destiny” with an assist from the CSO Chorus with Daniel Harding guest conducting. Also on the program Schumann’s “Overture to Manfred”.
Monday night September 4 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear Respighi’s “Roman Festivals” and “Pines of Rome”. Also on the program Holst’s “The Planets”.
Thursday night December 8 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra”. Guest conductor John Stogaards makes his Heinz Hall debut leading the Orchestra in Holst’s “The Planets”. Also on the program Mozart’s “4th Horn Concerto” with soloist William Cabalerro.
Thursday night May 12 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Music Director Ken-David Masur leads the group in Vaughan Williams’ “Concerto Grosso” and Elgar’s “Serenade for Strings”.
