Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra
Wednesday night November 8 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. You’ll hear a program of Baroque music with guest conductor Nicholas McGegan leading the orchestra in Handel’s “1st Water Music Suite”, a suite from Rameau’s “Nais” and two concertos by Vivaldi.
Pianist Grigory Sokolov plays music of Mozart, Chopin and others on the “Evening Concert”
Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “Collectors’ Corner with Henry Fogel”. You’ll hear legendary pianist Grigory Sokolov from his 2008 Salzburg Recital. He plays two Mozart piano sonatas and music of Scriabin, Chopin, and Rameau.
