Tuesday night February 4 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL 90.9 FMHD1 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. Sheku Kanneh-Mason is the soloist in Elgar’s “Cello Concerto”. Paavo Jarvi guest conducts. Also on the program Carl Nielsen’s “5th Symphony”.

Wednesday night October 18 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL 90.9FM/HD1 it’s the third program in a new series from the European Broadcasting Union. Sheku Kanneh-Mason is the soloist in Weinberg’s “Cello Concerto” with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic led by Andrew Manze.

You’ll hear Marin Alsop guest conduct the CSO in Elgar’s “Enigma Variations” and Barber’s “1st Symphony”. Also on the program Rachmaninoff’s “2nd Piano Concerto” with soloist Lukáš Vondráček.
