Sunday, September 20, 7:00 pm: Fiesta! With Elbio Barilari (FST 26-26) The Great Alberto Ginastera

One of the greatest 20th century composers of all time, Alberto Ginastera was able to seamlessly weave Latin American musical idioms into his music. Fiesta looks at the maestro’s incredible catalog and shares some of Elbio Barliari’s favorite recordings of Ginastera. (contact trauth@illinois.edu for details).
